Our Farm Walk
on 25th June was held at
Castle Hayes Farm, Tutbury
by kind invitation of the Major Family
We all had a very interesting insight
into their extensive Free Range Egg
business as well as their excellent
New Zealand based Dairy Herd.
Also we visited the Fauld Crater,
this being the site of possibly the worlds largest non Nuclear Explosion
A very sobering thought.
Our Annual Salmon Lunch
was held on 22nd June
by kind invitation of the Statham Family
at Elms Farm, Bramshall.
Again a very big thanks to the Stathams as well as Rachael and all the ladies who helped to provide a truly excellent meal and atmosphere
Saturday 13th September
Our Annual Ploughing and Hedgelaying Match was held at Ashbarn Farm, Grindley, Stafford, ST18 0LS, by kind invitation of Mr. & Mrs. David Rushton.
With over 80 Plough Men competing and many Hedgelayers along with a good entry in the Horse Show, it was again an excellent event.
Our thanks go to David & Kathy Rushton for all the work they put in to provide such an excellent site.
We again thank Rachael and all the ladies who once again provided us all with an excellent meal which is especially appreciated by the competitors.
